Customs Bond

When will you need a customs bond?

  • Importing commercial goods valued over $2,500 into the U.S.

  • Importing goods subject to other federal agencies (e.g., FDA, USDA).

  • Participating in programs like drawback or warehouse entries.

  • Using continuous importation, even if shipments are smaller in value.

Importer Security Filing

ISF stands for Importer Security Filing, also known as "10+2." It's a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulation that requires importers to electronically submit specific information about ocean cargo shipments before they arrive in the United States. ISF must be filed at least 24 hours before the vessel departs the foreign port (for ocean shipments only)

Customs Entry Filing

File required documents for imports and exports, submit entry summaries and other filings to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) or other agencies. Determine the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classification of goods, calculate duties, taxes, and fees owed on the imported goods. Verify compliance with U.S. regulations (Customs, FDA, USDA, EPA, etc.)
